OUR STORY
Our Story
We first launched our online shopping website, www.treasurebox.co.nz. Instead of trading on Trade Me alone, we decided to launch our own online store and build a community of loyal customers. We had a total of eight employees at that time.
2021
As we endeavoured to offer our customers a fantastic range of furniture, we added lots of new and exciting products to help you coordinate and create the home you desire.
2019
We opened the showroom to offer you a marvellous shopping experience. As we were starting to run out of space in Rosedale, we opened another dispatch centre at the end of the year.
2018
Thank you for all your consistent support over the past five years. We will continue to work hard and provide you with better service.😉
2017
After four years of hard work, we had three dispatch centres, over 3,500㎡ of warehouse space, millions of items in stock and more than 30 employees. One mission had become the core of the company: make your every dollar count! 😉

TreasureBox was named the winner of the Trade Me South Island People Pleaser Award.
October 2015
As we were running out of space at our Henderson, Auckland warehouse, we decided to occupy a temporary warehouse on Heremai Street in Henderson to prepare for the upcoming busy Christmas season.
Meet Our Team
Eric
Mastermind of TreasureBox. Whenever it's sunny, you will most likely find Eric fishing, and eating spicy chicken wings. He is a positive-thinking, generous man who is never afraid of challenges. His not-so-hidden talent is singing.
Annie
Annie takes care of countless tasks within the company, yet she still knows how to have fun and has time to prepare a yummy lunch every day. She provides exceptionally enjoyable treats for everyone in the office. Thank you, Annie.
David
The "Superman" of TreasureBox. Internet down or slow? Computer not working? The fridge doesn't work? What's for lunch? Where's a good restaurant? Go to David. Meanwhile, he is the one who drinks the most cola at TreasureBox.
Libra
Libra is a passionate mum who has an adorable daughter. Although she is responsible for a range of tasks that keep our office running smoothly, she still achieves a healthy work-life balance. Libra has extensive knowledge of administrative policies, systems and procedures, and is always willing to help others.
Minnie
Minnie is an outgoing young lady who is always laughing and brightening your day. She is the communication bridge between the office team and the warehouse dispatch team. If you need any help, go to Minnie. She's always available to help.
Sarah
Sarah has two cute daughters; she is always kind and patient and willing to help.
Sisi
Sisi has a beautiful smile. She is a passionate and talkative young lady. If you get bored or stressed, go to Sisi—she has some good jokes for you.
Kevin
He has all the positive characteristics a supervisor could have. There is nothing to worry about when it comes to how your order is handled. He also holds the unofficial position of TreasureBox's party organiser.
David
David takes care of daily warehouse operations. He is conscientious and always there to help and supervise our warehouse staff, while also working alongside them to complete tasks.
Ava
Ava is a girl who has a pleasingly direct manner. She's a natural stand-up comedian in the office. Bored or stressed with all things going on in your life? Talk to Ava and all your unhappiness will fall away.
Star
Star is known for her simple yet creative designs; her code-editing skills are as good as anyone's. She likes watching basketball and drinking health-preserving tea.
Martin
He's the most outgoing person I have ever seen. Also known as "The Weekend" of TreasureBox. His hairstyle is like a pot plant, making it the most unique sight in our office. Nobody talking and everyone bored? Never mind, he won't let it happen.
Ling
Ling is a peaceful, gentle and intelligent young woman, but she is also a little shy. She can always help you get everything sorted.
George
A huge sports fan. The NBA and CBA are his favourite shows. You can always get answers about basketball from him.
Customer Service and Support Team
You may never have met them in person, but we believe you must have spoken to one of them if you have had any enquiries or issues. Fatima, Leo, Charie and other team members will always try their best to help you.
Warehouse and Purchase Teams
As two of the largest departments, they are the ones working hard behind the scenes. You may never know who they are, where they are or what they are doing. But without them, we could never achieve our goal: make your every dollar count.
