GAYLE 120cm Computer Desk with Bookshelf - BLACK
The finished product looks nice, however, the keyboard drawer is a fraction low for typing and it would be great if it was wide enough to accommodate a mouse.
Assembly was a hassle. The instructions don't always make it clear which way the components should face so twice I had to undo whole segments of the desk to rotate parts. The parts do not align fully, either, so you need to be very aware when putting it together. Some of the welded edges had small amounts of rust, but nothing major. I would shuffle the order of instructions so that the way the desk is put together allows some leniency for orientation errors.
My tower is much bigger than the board that comes with the desk to put the computer on, but that's ok, I used it for stationary instead and predominantly use a laptop.
The desk holds a monitor arm well, but the desk frame is too narrow so we put a piece of wood next to it to brace the mount.
I also had to wipe the desk down before assembly as it was covered with fibres (assumably fibreglass).
Overall, the desk was a headache but once completed, it looks nice and I enjoy having the shelves.
